Testing

Testing Sessions are held the second Monday of each month.  Please see the home page for current location.

The tests begin at 6:00 PM and include tests for all Amateur Radio Licenses.  Remember - after February 23, 2007, you no longer need to take a Morse Code test for either the General or Amateur Extra licenses.

Every person who passes their test and is not currently a member of the NKARC Club will automatically receive a FREE membership to the Club for the balance of the year!

For the test, you will need to bring two forms of identification, one of which needs to have your picture on it, and a testing fee of $14.  Please make sure you complete a Club Application form for your free memberhship!

You will also need at least two #2 pencils and, if you would like, a calculator (please be prepared to demonstrate to the officials that the memories are empty!).  We will supply you with the necessary forms, etc.

You do not need to be a member of the club, or even an Amateur Radio operator, to test.  Everyone is welcome!
