Repeaters / Echolink

The NKARC Repeaters are open to use by all licensed Amateur Radio Operators.  Please feel free to give a call.

Our club offers four local VHF/UHF repeaters.  They are:

* 123.0 PL Tone required

• *146.895- Located in Highland Heights, Kentucky

• *147.255+ Located in Edgewood, Kentucky

• *147.375+ (Emergency communications by KY7ET are shared) located in Walton, KY

• *444.350+ Located in Edgewood, Kentucky   -> down for repair at this time.  Please check back often for updates. (22-Mar-2011)

Weekly nets are at:

Club Net:  Tuesdays at 7:30 PM local time on 147.255. 

Emergency Net:  Thursdays at 8:00 PM local time on 147.375.

ECHOLINK

We are also on Echolink!  Our 147.255 repeater is a linked node and can be accessed via Echolink at N4IJS-R (node #323896).  For information about linking via your radio, please read this document.

(Please note that we are running Echolink version 2.0.908)

WARN

During inclement weather (WX), WARN (the Weather Amateur Radio Network) will include our 147.375 repeater in severe WX nets.  This will provide greater coverage to the southern KY area.
